On any given day in America, 292 people die of a drug-related overdose and at least 27,000 Texas residents are homeless. Drug addiction and homelessness often go hand in hand, impacting entire communities.

But Recovery Begins with Hope. Our mission is to restore hope by empowering individuals and families to overcome addiction, homelessness, and life challenges through compassionate care, recovery support, and the transforming love of Christ.

How We Serve

Family Restoration: Helping families heal through education, support, and community resources.

Recovery Housing: Safe, structured housing that provides stability while individuals rebuild healthy, purpose-filled lives.

Community Outreach: Meeting people where they are through food distribution, resource navigation, prayer, and compassionate support.

Recovery Support: Peer mentoring, accountability, recovery coaching, and encouragement throughout every stage of recovery.

Welcome to Mastermind Recovery Dallas

Mastermind Recovery in Dallas is led by Oluwole Popoola, M.D. He is a board-certified General Psychiatrist, an Addiction Medicine Specialist and a Pastor.

Mastermind Recovery Dallas is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving individuals and families affected by substance use disorders, homelessness, mental health challenges, and life-controlling circumstances.
We’re committed to bringing hope, healing, and practical support to the Dallas-Fort Worth community through outreach, recovery housing, mentorship, and community partnerships, inspired by the vision of Mastermind Recovery.
